MS Teams Agent
Connect the MS Teams Agent to access your teams, channels, chats, meetings, and shared files directly through Blockbrain's AI assistant.
What Can You Do?
Once connected, the MS Teams Agent lets you:
Find Teams, Channels & Chats: Search for teams you belong to, list all channels, and find recent chats or messages.
Read & Analyze Conversations: Ask questions about specific messages, get summaries, or extract key points from chats, channels, or meetings.
Manage Teams & Members: List team or channel members, get user info, and manage presence status.
Automate Messaging & Meetings: Send messages to channels or chats, create new chats, schedule or update online meetings, and access meeting transcripts.
Access Shared Files: Search for files shared in Teams, get file details, and browse channel folders.
Quick Setup
Step 1: Select MS Teams Agent
In any Blockbrain conversation, click the AI Model selection dropdown
Click "Show detailed AI model list"
Find and click "MS Teams Agent"
Look for "Configure" under the Status column
Step 2: Connect to MS Teams
Click "Configure"
Click the "Connect" button
Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account when prompted
Click "Accept" to allow Blockbrain to access your MS Teams data
Step 3: Start Using MS Teams
That's it! You can now ask Blockbrain about your Teams, channels, chats, meetings, and files.

Your Access = Blockbrain's Access
Blockbrain can only see MS Teams files you can access.
If you can't open/find a file/chat/meeting, neither can Blockbrain.
Your permissions stay exactly the same.
Safe and Secure
Your files remain in Chats/OneDrive/SharePoint.
Blockbrain reads and updates only as instructed—no unauthorized changes.
All access is logged in your organization's audit trail.
Tips for Better Results
Be Specific
False: "Find my message" Correct: "Find my message about the Q3 budget in the Finance channel"
Use File Types
False: "Show me files" Correct: "Show me all PDF files shared in the Marketing team last week"
Mention Locations
False: "Find the meeting" Correct: "Find the meeting transcript from the Project Kickoff in the Engineering team"
Troubleshooting
"I can't find my team or message"
Check if you can see the team or message in Microsoft Teams directly
Try using different search terms (e.g., part of the team or channel name)
The item might be in a team or chat you don't have access to
"Permission denied" errors
Your Teams permissions may have changed
Contact your IT team to verify your access
Try reconnecting the agent
"No Teams found"
You might not be a member of any Teams
Check with your administrator about Teams licensing
Verify you're signed in with the correct Microsoft account
Privacy and Security
Respecting Permissions: Blockbrain can only access Teams, channels, chats, and files you have permission to see
No Unauthorized Changes: Blockbrain only sends messages or updates meetings when you instruct it—no unsolicited actions
No Storage: Blockbrain doesn't store copies of your messages, files, or meeting data
